The original studio partner—where every project came with laughter, learning, and story to tell.

This is one of my favorite photos of my dad and me—caught mid-snort-laugh, which happened often. We shared a love of making things and telling stories, usually with our hands busy and a few choice words flying when things went sideways.

Jack was a lifelong maker—of furniture, pottery, jewelry, and unforgettable one-liners. He believed in craftsmanship, in figuring things out by doing, and in the power of a well-told story to turn even a mistake into something worth remembering. That spirit shaped the way I work—and the way I live.

Dad was always my first call when I needed help with a project. In my studio, I still feel him beside me. I hear him in the rhythm of my hammer, the muttered “that’ll do” when something finally fits, and the occasional curse when it doesn’t. The work connects us.

Every piece I create carries his imprint: a bit of mischief, a lot of heart, and the kind of joy that comes from making something real with your own two hands.

This collection is a tribute, a continuation—and a story we’re still telling.
